FreeAgent

My accounting and bookkeeping software of choice is FreeAgent. I am an accredited Bronze Partner with FreeAgent and, as such, I am able to get you access to their accounting platform at 50% of the normal subscription rates. In addition if you are, or become, a customer of NatWest, Royal Bank of Scotland, Ulster Bank or Mettle your subscription to FreeAgent is free.

Xero

I also use Xero accounting software which would also be included in your monthly fee

QuickBooks

I also use QuickBooks accounting software which would be included in your monthly fee

Receipt Bank

I use ReceiptBank for data capture. Simply take a photo of your receipt using your smartphone. This is included in your monthly fee.

Tax Cafe

I am a fan of TaxCafe, the award-winning publisher of plain English tax guides. Since 1999 they have been helping businesses and families pay less income tax, capital gains tax, corporation tax, inheritance tax and other taxes. GoProposal

For pricing of my fees to work effectively, they must be logical so that the accountant using them, believes in them. They must also be transparent so that the client receiving them, understands them. And they must be fair so that both parties can trust in them, because that’s how we build long term, mutually beneficial, lasting, impactful relationships. Getting this right is important. I believe in this philosophy and I have been awarded the Certificate for Clear and Transparent Pricing by GoProposal. Rest assured that all quotes for my fees will follow these principles and also the guarantees listed on my home page.

Agreed in Advance

All our monthly fees are agreed in advance and fixed for a minimum period of 12 months. That’s it…once we have discussed your requirements and agreed a fee with you, that fee will remain unchanged (for those requirements) for at least 12 months. If your needs were to change (e.g. you were to become VAT registered or you were to increase the size of your payroll) then we would agree a new fee with you, which again would remain fixed for a further 12 months. You will NEVER receive any surprise bills from us.

All Deadlines Met

Your key filing deadlines will be met; on time, every time. As long as we receive your information within agreed timescales, we will ensure that your documents are filed on time with HMRC and Companies House. You will NEVER receive any late filing penalties.
